Shipping Policy

Please email us if you have a specific question about shipping, or need your items on a specific day. We ship Monday through Saturday, less Holidays. In stock orders placed Monday-Saturday before 11AM Central Time will ship out the same day! Orders placed after that time will ship the next business day.

Non continental US order CLAIMS for damaged merchandise must be handled by customer. While we do our best to insure proper and sufficient packaging, we cannot guarantee safe delivery. ReefOptics Lighting will NOT ship replacement items for damaged merchandise until the CLAIM has been settled with USPS. Thank you for your understanding.

ReefOtptics Lighting utilizes a flat rate shipping method based on your purchase total. Rates apply to continental U.S. ONLY!

*Orders containing multiple heavy or oversized items may require additional shipping fees.

Shipping Options

We use USPS Priority Mail with free insurance included, excluding free shipping options, for all orders unless requested otherwise. However, we do offer Standard Ground (within 7 business days), Expedited (2-4 business days), FedEx 2 Day Air (2 business days), and FedEx Overnight Air (next business day) delivery options unless otherwise noted on the product page. Delivery by Friday is available for most of our products for Overnight Air or 2-Day Air service to any address in the 48 connected states as long as we receive your order by 11:00 AM CST, Thursday for Overnight Service, or by 11:00 AM CST, Wednesday for 2-Day Air service.

Here is a chart for you to figure your shipping charges for all Metal Halide Bulb purchases Only. Any other items shipping may vary. Contact us if you are planning on ordering in bulk or larger orders for shipping quote.

USPS Priority Mail

Free Shipping Options
ReefOptics Lighting is currently offering a promotion where we will ship most orders of $175 or more via USPS Priority Mail for free (Metal Halide Bulbs Only!). Discounted shipping on all other orders. Insurance will still be billed at the current rate of $1.50 per $100 increment for USPS Priority Mail shipped orders. A minimum of $1.50 is charged per box shipped for insurance.

No returns will be accepted for any merchandise that has been used. We do not sell any used merchandise as new, nor can we accept any back. USPS will attempt to deliver packages three times. If a package is not delivered and returned, we will have to bill customer the for round trip shipping charges, USPS imposed extra handling charges.

All of our prices are subject to change. All transactions and prices must be verified and approved by ReefOptics Lighting. If the price is incorrect due to typo, error, misprint, ReefOptics Lighting reserves the right to decline any order. Photographs associated with some products in our store are not necessarily exactly representative of the exact item they are associated with, but may be shown with additional products for display purposes, or may be a similar product that is displayed to convey a general theme of that product.

Damaged Items

If your merchandise arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of arrival. All damage claims must be filed with your carrier and ReefOptics Lighting. We are more than willing to provide you with assistance in this unlikely event. Please note that orders cannot be returned, cancelled, or rejected due to shipping delays unless express service was requested at the time of ordering.

If a package is damaged by UPS, FedEx, Airborne Express, or DHL, ReefOptics Lighting will file the claim with the carrier.

If a package is damaged via USPS, the customer will file the claim with the carrier.
